Vortex induction heater VIH

1. Purpose and use

1.1 Vortex induction heaters VIHs are designed for getting of hot water for process needs, heating of production premises and living quarters and also for hot-water supply.

1.2 Operation conditions:

-constant duty and intermittent duty operation;

-ambient temperature from + 5°С to + 40°С;

-non-aggressive and non-explosive environment;

1.3 Climatic version – moderate climate (boreal climate), the 4th placement category according to1 5150-69 GOST (all-Union State Standard).

2. Technical features

2.1 Heat carrier - water.

2.3 Heat carrier temperature in hot water getting operation mode is up to 95 ˚С.

2.4 Maximum working pressure of the heat carrier is 0.3 MPa.

2.5 VIH heating power per 1 kW of electric power is not less than 850 kcal.

2.6 Power of VIHs produced by the company is from 3 to 60 kW.

2.7 Main voltage of alternating current is 220/380 (+- 5%) V.

2.8 Current frequency is 50 Hz.

2.9 Overall dimensions and weight of the VIHs are indicated in Table 1.

Note: it is possible to use cooling fluids and other special nonflammable fluids as a heat carrier instead of water with the approval of the manufacturer.

В,Ш,Г dimensions and mountain dimension С are indicated in table 2. Other variants of the VIH arrangement are possible on the customer’s request.

The company reserves the right to upgrade the heaters and to introduce change in their design which doesn’t influence their operating factors.

The VIH completing units are:

VIH - 1 pcs.;

Control cabinet (remote) - 1 pcs.;

Temperature –sensitive element - 1 pcs.;

Operating manual - 1 pcs.

It is possible to produce VIH assembly units completed with a circulating pump, a safety group and valves/controls on the customer’s request.

Properties of the heater:

Life time: working time is more than 30 years;

Electrical safety: the 2nd class of electrical safety;

Fire safety (the absence of high-temperature joints and seals);

Coefficient of efficiency = 98%;

Current frequency is 50 Hz;

The VIHs don’t form any deposits;

The possibility to use different liquid heat carriers (water, antifreeze, oil, etc.);

Easy maintenance.

Production time: VIH-3 – VIH-15 - 10 days, VIH-20 – VIH-50 - 20 days, VIH-100 – VIH-250 - 50 days.
